Jennifer Vides oversees all matters relating to brand strategy, corporate reputation and integrated marketing. A writer and brand storyteller with more than 20 years of experience, Vides has directed marketing departments at national specialty retailers Hot Topic and Gymboree and global public relations firms Burson-Marsteller and Weber Shandwick, and led development at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. She developed the brand identity for and launched new brands Janie & Jack and Blackheart, and repositioned established brands Hot Topic, Torrid, Gymboree, Munchkin and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She is also experienced with navigating communications challenges relating to difficult issues including corporate turnarounds and repositioning, product recalls, litigation, mergers, customer service issues, and more.
Raised in Central America and the Caribbean, Vides is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. She is on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley, and holds B.S. Degrees in Communications and French from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
