Many thanks to those who pledged their support during The Iranian Americans pledge night on Thursday, May 23rd 2013!  It was a pleasure to have the film director Andrew Goldberg in the studio talking about his experience in making this film and saying that it was “the best fed” documentary he’s made. 

We were also pleased to have different successful individuals from the Iranian American community including; Oscar nominated Iranian American actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, producer and host on 670 am Radio Iran Shahrzad Ardalan, Director for Solar System Exploration at NASA Dr. Firouz Naderi, author and award-winning journalist Homa Sarshar, the Executive Director of Farhang Foundation Bita Milanian, the founder of Shopzilla Farhad Mohit, and the founder of Iranian-American Women Foundation and Executive Director of Coastline College Foundation, and PBS SoCaL Community Advisory Board member Mariam Khosravani. 

We would like to thank the Iranian-American Women Foundation phone volunteers for helping us to make this event a success and the award winning Caspian Restaurant—located in Irvine—for donating their delicious food for our volunteers to enjoy.
