Get ready for the premiere of the NEW series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on PBS SoCaL Monday, September 3rd at 11:00 am.

The series is inspired by the iconic, award-winning Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and stars 4-year-old Daniel Tiger, son of the original program's Daniel Striped Tiger. Daniel Tiger invites young viewers into his world, giving them a kid's-eye view of his life. As they closely follow and share Daniel's everyday adventures, preschoolers ages 2-4 and their families learn fun and practical strategies and skills necessary for growing and learning.

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood builds social and emotional competencies of preschool aged children that allow them to do well in school and in life by engaging them around a common early learning theme such as dealing with disappointment.

Join Daniel Tigers’ neighbors as he learns and grows. Viewers young and old will find fun and comfort with the next generation of the original characters from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

O the Owl lives with his Uncle X in a tree. Katarina Kittycay is the daughter of Henrietta Pussycat. Prince Wednesday, the son of King Friday.  And Miss Elaina, who lives with her parents, Lady Elaine Fairchilde and Music Man Stan.

The series is accompanied by a robust website where kids will find additional content to learn life’s little lessons with a lot of fun. Games and activities like "Make a Card" and  "My Bedtime" teach lessons like caring for others and daily routines. Preschoolers will build on the skills covered in the series by actively engaging in pretend play activities with Daniel.
