The Roosevelts in the Classroom

Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt have taken over PBS primetime this week!  Filmmaker Ken Burns  presents a stellar 14 hours of The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, a series chronicling the lives of one America’s most historic families. 

The series brings with it a mass of free classroom resources for grades 7-12!  These video clips, snapshot lessons and full lesson plans are available for use in your classroom right away.  PBS LearningMedia also launched a set of lesson plans based on The Roosevelts, examining the powers of the executive branch.
