Are you a Shakespeare fan? Come check out The Hollow Crown

Are you a Shakespeare fan? Well you’re in luck! PBS SoCaL has just the series for you. THIRTEEN’s GREAT PERFORMANCES national production, The Hollow Crown is a new series of filmed adaptations including four of Shakespeare’s most gripping history plays; Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, Henry IV, Part 2 and Henry V.

The series airs on PBS SoCaL on four consecutive Friday’s at 9PM (September 20th, September 27th, October 4th and October 11th). You can find additional resources and information on Southern California Shakespeare organizations, please visit PBS SoCaL Shakespeare webpage.

In honor of the upcoming series, PBS SoCaL spent an afternoon with the Los Angeles Drama Club (the country’s youngest Shakespeare Troupe) during their summer’s Shakespeare in the City creating crowns and acting out scenes.
