Local PBS SoCaL Programs for September
It’s back to school time… and what better time to enjoy our line-up of locally originated and produced programs, presented by PBS SoCaL.
Speaking of school, you will be impressed by the award-winning projects created by students in the 49th Annual California Student Media Festival! The CSMF is our nation’s oldest student media festival, and this year, cameras captured the process behind the winning films: how the students developed and implemented their ideas, the challenges they faced, and the lessons and skills they learned along the way. Many of the winning projects are featured in this program. Share this program information with your favorite parents, students, teachers or aspiring filmmakers! The 49th Annual California Student Media Festival will air on PBS SoCaL September 17 at 7pm, September 20 at 3pm and October 3 at 3pm. Please visit the program web page for more information.
Discover the remarkable life and work of Pedro E. Guerrero, a Mexican American born and raised in segregated Mesa, Arizona, who had an extraordinary, international photography career. Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer’s Journey is a co-presentation of VOCES and AMERICAN MASTERS, VOCES is presented by PBS SoCaL. This program will air on PBS SoCaL September 18 at 9pm. Please visit the program web page for more information.
October will bring nothing but treats and more quality programming!
