Recently, PBS SoCaL was invited to the renowned Raleigh Studios to showcase one of the premiere wine and lifestyle events in Southern California, the LAWineFest. With a serious focus on education and charitable giving, the LAWineFest offers guests an evening of great entertainment all while offering them an opportunity to give back to their communities. The LAWineFest partners with a charity every year and this year’s beneficiary was, once again, the Make A Wish Foundation. The festival held a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Make a Wish Foundation, which also received a percentage of the overall earnings from the two day festival.

If you haven’t previously heard about it, the LAWineFest opened its doors for the first time In 2005. Since then, it’s grown tremendously, attracting people from all corners of Southern California who enjoy a unique and relaxing getaway while developing a taste and love for wine.

Not only is the event festive and energetic, but many attendees were fascinated to learn more from the engaging seminars held throughout the day by professional chefs and wine experts. Connoisseurs who shared their personal knowledge and experience, allowing all who attended to better understand and appreciate their enthusiasm for the wine lifestyle.
