Meet the Next Generation of Filmmakers!
What do math-problem-solving pirates, a travel documentary exploring Cuba, and a biography of Oskar Shindler have in common? They’re all winning projects in the 50th Annual California Student Media Festival!
This Saturday, we're honoring the most creative student-created projects submitted to this year's festival from all across the state of California, with a special event at the Colburn School in downtown LA. The celebration ceremonies will include announcements of the grand prize winners, clips from winning pieces, breakfast refreshments, and opportunities to win direct-entry tickets (and skip the line) at the new Broad Museum, located directly across the street from The Colburn School (tickets will be valid for June 11 only).
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, and we invite everyone to come out and see what these young creatives have put together. RSVP to reserve your spot.
Can’t make it out to the Colburn School, but still want check out the amazing work of some of California’s finest media students? Stream this year’s winning projects at www.mediafestival.org/2016.
Hope to see you this Saturday!
