Staff Spotlight: Adamn Hernandez
We are kicking off our new series spotlighting PSB SoCaL staff members. This is your chance to learn more about the people who work at PBS SoCaL, their interests and community activities. For our first staff spotlight, meet Adamn Hernandez, Animator/Assistant Editor at our station:
We asked Adamn some additional questions not included in the video. Here’s what he had to say:
Where are you from?
I was born in East Los Angeles and lived there until I moved to Whittier in the sixth grade. I currently reside in Whittier but hope to move to the OC soon to be closer to work.
What do you like the most about Southern California?
The one thing I like the most about living in Southern California is the weather. I enjoy being able to have fun outdoors in the sun almost all year around.
What is your dream vacation? Where would you go and why?
Although I have plenty of places in mind for a vacation the one I would like the most would be visiting Brazil. My uncle has been there several times and I always enjoy hearing his stories about the people, lifestyle and culture. I plan on making Brazil my next vacation destination.
What’s your favorite type of music?
I like a wide variety of music. Recently I’ve been listening to a lot of old school hip-hop. I don’t really like the new stuff that’s been coming out. I have multiple playlists to get me pumped. I listen to Dr. Dre, Easy-E, Snoop Dog, Tupac and all the great legends. Their music gets me pumped up, not only to work on projects, but in general.
