Now PlayingEarly Education
Locally, PBS SoCal will work with partners to bring dropout prevention resources to all the communities of Southern California. By combining direct service to youth, teacher professional development, parent education, and business/workforce connections, we will be able to leverage initiative resources with partners to make a direct impact on dropout prevention. Specifically, PBS SoCal is connecting American Graduate to everything we do in education. Research shows that everything from early childhood literacy to teacher training to career exploration all connect in some way to the dropout crisis and finding a solution. Through a number of efforts including: broadcast, interactive, outreach, education, and engagement, PBS SoCal hopes to raise awareness of organizations already doing great work in dropout prevention and join in the campaign where our Destination is Graduation.
