Coming This Year from PBS SoCaL Education

PBS SoCaL Education continues to engage Southern California communities with resources and events from your favorite PBS KIDS programs. Last year PBS SoCaL held 70 community events,  trained over 2,000 teachers and parents, and distributed more than 3,000 free books to children in need.

This year we are continuing our outreach with even more community events, parent trainings, and resources.

PBS KIDS Go! Writers Contest - Students K-3 can enter thier original stories to win prizes!
47th Annual Student Media Festival - Statewide festival celebrating excellence in media.
Ready to Learn - Working with community partners on this national initiative geared to help kids 2-8 get ready to read.

Coming soon...New Parent Trainings - A nine month series that trains parents to teach science & math concepts at home with your favorite PBS KIDS characters. Registration will be available after February 1st and all attendees will receives free resources for at home learning.
