Dinosaur Train’s Interactive Discovery Tour

The Dinosaur Train Discovery Tour is an online resource that allows kids to take a tour of a museum, zoo, or aquarium and learn about the animals and various exhibits in an interactive way.  It’s perfect if you have a little learner that is curious about everything around them. Not only is it interactive and great for all ages, but it is also a great tool to use on-the-go; so load it on your smartphone on your next museum visit, and you’re good to go.

The Discovery Tour is great for many reasons, but one of the main ones is that it doubles as a STEM resource.  It explores science, history, geography, astronomy, geology, and so much more. Your little ones can learn about today’s animals and their habitats, but also connect that knowledge to the exhibits’ prehistoric counterparts.  So kids can learn about giraffes, and also about their predecessor, the brachiosaurus!

If you’d like a chance to test out this tool, join us at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach for our Dinosaur Train Discovery Tour Day this Friday, February 22, 2013. The event will be open to the general public from 9:00am-6:00pm, and will reopen from 6:30pm-9:30pm for a Members-Only night, each filled with activities for you and your family to enjoy.
