PBS KIDS Writers Contest is open for submissions!
What’s the only thing better than reading a great story? Writing one! The PBS Kids Writers Contest is back and we are looking for the best student-penned stories in SoCal. The contest is open to children in grades K-3 and each entry must be an original work – written and illustrated by the entrant. Stories can be fact, fiction, prose or poetry – and each grade level will be judged separately.
First, second, and third place winners will be chosen from each grade. Every child who submits an original piece will be recognized for their participation with a Certificate of Appreciation.
