The 28th Annual Imagination Celebration is a yearly spring arts festival for children and families, presented by Arts Orange County in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education. The festival will take place from April 20-May 26, 2013 and offers dozens of affordable or free events throughout Orange County featuring theatre, dance, music, and visual arts, ranging from professional performances to student showcases and hands-on workshops during the month-long festival themed “Full SteAm Ahead.” The Imagination Celebration is an exciting collaboration with professional arts organizations, cities, schools, libraries, colleges, universities and community venues to offer affordable arts experiences in every Orange County community. Parents throughout Orange County will enjoy a wide variety of free or affordable, creative activities they can share with their children.

Step up with family, friends and community members on Sunday June 2nd, 2013 for the 4th Annual Orange County Kidney Walk presented by DaVita at Aldrich Park in UC Irvine by the National Kidney Foundation serving Southern California and Southern Nevada. Registration begins at 8:00am and the noncompetitive 3 Mile, and 1 Mile Walk begins at 9:30am. Teams and individual walkers of all ages are invited to take a lifesaving step and help raise funds to support programs that help in the fight against kidney disease through prevention, advocacy and education.
