Los Angeles Times Reporters Ruben Vives and Jeff Gottlieb were awarded the Pulitzer Prize on Monday for uncovering a massive corruption scandal in Bell, Calif., that resulted in the arrest of eight former or current city officials and accusations that the eight mishandled more than $5.5 million in public funds.
