A Kentucky county clerk was arrested for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, citing religious belief. After this summer’s Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage across the country, Kim Davis had tried suing the state’s governor for religious discrimination, but her case was rejected.
