Will Congress Consider Immigration Reform?
Christina Bellantoni on issues Congressional leaders were focused on prior to the start of their vacation. Looming ahead is the prospect of another full or partial government shutdown on September 30. But this time is different, said Bellantoni, as an impasse or shutdown gives some conservative Republicans the chance they’ve been looking for to defund the parts of the Affordable Care Act.
