Newport Tea Party

For the first time in 22 years the well-to-do city is raising the fee it charges for boat docks, adding anywhere from a couple hundred to couple thousand dollars to the annual tax bill of affected property owners. The city says it's a long overdue adjustment that constitutes a "fair share" for those who access the public waters.
