Desal in Surf City
A private water company wants to build a billion dollar desalination plant in Huntington Beach California. The company has hired former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer to promote the controversial project of turning ocean water into drinking water. Environmentalists say Boxer has betrayed them. PBS reporter David Nazar investigates.
