He leaves the audience in stitches while guiding them on how to bring the honeymoon stage back to their relationship and keep it going year after year.
About Yakov Smirnoff
After a successful career in television, movies and on Broadway — including command performances for three different presidents at the White House — Russian-born entertainer Yakov Smirnoff turned his mind to understanding the mysteries of happiness. He earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied under Dr. Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology. Today, in addition to his many performances around the world, Smirnoff teaches a course on happiness and laughter at Missouri State University.
YAKOV SMIRNOFF’S HAPPILY EVER LAUGHTER: THE NEUROSCIENCE OF ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations in August 2016.
