Arts with Impact
LAaRT once featured the LA Drama Club, a nonprofit which has set the stage for hundreds of inner city students to succeed for 10+ years. One shy child who watched LAaRT asked her parents to enroll her in the LA Drama Club as their newest young actress—just one small instance of PBS SoCaL arts coverage making a difference. PBS SoCaL’s LAaRT focuses on arts with impact to reach the masses through the power of television. PBS SoCaL spotlights arts organizations that support all Californians. These segments are available online to stream into classrooms and nonprofits. Arts education results in higher graduation rates!
