Programming Highlights

Cyberchase: Return to Sensible Flats
Monday at 7:00 a.m. PST on KLCS
The town of Sensible Flats is out of water! But why? When the kids and Digit arrive, they use line graphs to reveal the true story of what happened. Watch to find out who is responsible!

The Cyberchase gang loves solvoing problems | PBS KIDS

Let's Go Luna! C'est Cheese/C'est La Vie A Paris
Monday at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. PST on PBS SoCal
The gang is in Paris and learning a lot from the French. When Leo tries to make a regular grilled cheese sandwich for Carmen, he discovers that, for a resourceful chef, even the simplest dish can become a true work of art. Luna and the kids also learn that enjoying life is important and they help Hockbar relax when he gets stressed with work.

Arthur: He Said, He Said/Bunny Trouble
Monday at 6:30 a.m. PST on PBS SoCal
Bionic Bunny is on TV … until the cable goes out. Everyone tries to remember the story, but it doesn’t sound quite right. It’s so frustrating, that it all becomes an argument and Carl, who is particularly sensitive to loud noises, gets upset. If only everyone would calm down, Carl — with his amazing memory skills — would be able to tell everyone exactly what happens in the episode.

Sesame Street: The Fluffster Kerfuffle Monday at 11:00 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. PST on PBS SoCal When Rudy tries to use Julia's special toy, Fluffster, as part of a game he's playing with Elmo and Abby Cadabby, Julia gets very upset, but why? Alan explains to him that Fluffster helps Julia feel calm, so it’s not a toy she likes to share. Rudy apologizes and learns that there’s always different way to play together, while respecting others’ needs and boundaries.

At-Home Learning Tips

Consistency is Key for Children with Autism
To help your child grow accustomed to the changes of distance learning, stay consistent with your language and pair it with visual guides, especially if they have Autism. For example, schedule blocks of activities that vary by color to offer variety within a structure. For example, tell your child, “It’s time to pick a yellow activity, do you want to do A or B?” Find more tips to support your child in this guide.

ACTIVITY: Kids in the Kitchen - Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Just as Leo discovered how a simple grilled cheese sandwich can be a work of art on today's "Let's Go Luna!" episode, unleash your mini chef's creativity for lunch time and allow them to add a new ingredient to this easy recipe for a cheesy classic. If your child has mastered the basic grilled cheese sandwich and is ready to put an international twist on it, test out this Croque Monsieur recipe instead to add a French flair as the "Let's Go Luna!" team did in Paris.
