Aired: 2/25/2018 | 0:02:00 | Expires: 6/6/2020 | Episode
Los Angeles was considered the wild west of oil extraction in the early 1900’s. By 1930, California was producing nearly a quarter of the world’s oil output. To this day, L.A. is still one of the largest oil fields in the country, amongst a dense population of more than 10-million people. But do oil and people mix? Bonnie Boswell explores this topic of urban oil drilling.
