When Bard Prison Initiative Students Debated Harvard

When incarcerated students from the Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) Debate Union beat a team from Harvard, their victory made headlines around the world. BPI argued in favor of the proposition that “public schools should be allowed to deny admission to undocumented children.”
