Jessie Castillo grew up in the Los Angeles foster care system from the age of 3 to 18. Walking away from drugs, depression, anger and bad influences in high school, Jesse turned to drawing, painting and eventually art to express himself. Now, 28 and working for the Department of Child and Family Services Los Angeles County, Jessie expresses his future and his past, through art.
