Bette Davis Picnic Area

Have a picnic among the sprawling open space amidst impressive oak and sycamore trees, along a green section of the Los Angeles River. Then, with appropriate supervision, explore this lively stretch of the river filled with birds, fish, lizards, turtles and other creatures. DIRECTIONS

Car: Take the 5 Freeway and get off at Western Avenue. Head west on Western Avenue as it turns and becomes Rancho Avenue.

Transit: Take the 96 Bus and get off at Victory and Sonora. The bus drops you off in front of the park.
