Variety and PBS SoCal Announce New Season of Variety Studio: Actors on Actors

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Variety and PBS SoCal present Variety Studio: Actors on Actors, the fourth installment of the awards season series, which will begin airing Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. on PBS SoCal (KOCE HD). PBS SoCal recently won a Los Angeles area Emmy® for a special episode of Variety Studio: Actors on Actors that aired in 2014.

The fourth season of Variety Studio: Actors on Actors will once again feature fascinating, intimate conversations between the top talent from the year's most notable television programs. This season has two episodes:

Episode 401 airs Sunday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. with the following actors:


  • Lady Gaga (American Horror Story: Hotel) with Jamie Lee Curtis (Scream Queens)
  • Courtney B. Vance (American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson) with Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish)
  • Jennifer Lopez (Shades of Blue) with Felicity Huffman (American Crime)
  • Aaron Paul (The Path) with Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager)
  • Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) with Jay Duplass (Transparent)

Episode 402 airs Sunday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m. with the following actors:


  • Sarah Paulson (American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson) with Bobby Cannavale (Vinyl)
  • Kerry Washington (Confirmation) with Aziz Ansari (Master of None)
  • Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) with Kirsten Dunst (Fargo)
  • Rob Lowe (The Grinder) with John Travolta (American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson)
  • Patrick Stewart (Blunt Talk) with Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley)

The Variety Studio: Actors on Actors series will air in New York on WNET in June and be distributed to PBS stations around the country in July (check local listings.) The episodes will also air nationally on public broadcasting's World Channel Sunday, July 17 at 5pm ET/2pm PT and 6pm ET/3pm PT.
