"An assault on women’s rights” is President Biden's term for the Supreme Court’s overnight ruling which allows Texas’s new abortion law – one of the most restrictive in the country – to take effect. The law permits private citizens to sue anyone assisting an abortion patient: a doctor, a counselor, or even an Uber driver taking someone to a clinic.
