Richard Stengel is the former Editor-in-Chief of Time and a former Under Secretary of State in the Obama administration, where he led the department’s counter-disinformation efforts. He joins Walter Isaacson to discuss his new book “Information Wars,” which offers a deep dive into the fake news phenomenon, beginning with his own experience with Ukraine during the Russian invasion of Crimea.
