Battling The HIV/AIDS Stigma
Dec. 1 marks World AIDS Day, a day we can unite in the worldwide fight against HIV and AIDS. In the U.S., an estimated 1.2 million people are living with HIV or AIDS and nearly 10 percent of them call New York City home. This is a testament to advances in medicine, but one problem still persists: the stigma. We speak with activist Mark Milano, who is fighting back with information.
