According to data from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, more than 7,400 veterans took their own lives in 2014, which accounted for 18 percent of all suicides in America. That number is staggering but reveals the harsh reality that our nation's veterans return to when they leave the battleground. Thankfully, there is someone in their corner.
