Skelos & Son: The Sentencing
He was one of the most powerful lawmakers in New York. Now Dean Skelos, the former state senate majority leader, is headed to a federal prison. Skelos was sentenced Thursday to five years behind bars while his son, Adam, received a lengthier sentence than his father: a total of six-and-a-half years.
