Almost 900 SoCal students busted out their pens, papers and crayons for PBS SoCal's 2019 KIDS Writers Contest. After much deliberation, here are the first, second and third place winners. Winners were also recognized for the following special categories:  Humor, Illustration, Science Fiction and Kindness.
