PBS SoCal is proud to announce the local winners of the 2019 PBS SoCal KIDS Writers Contest.

The winners in grades K-3 were recognized at a special celebration on June 8 and received books and prizes.

Writers Contest Awards Ceremony

Local Southern California students submitted 895 stories to PBS SoCal. Community members and PBS SoCal staff read and judged all stories, and selected first, second, and third place winners for each grade.
