Eileen C Hsu's Bio:

Eileen C Hsu was born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to California with her family when she was 15. While finding her interest in visual storytelling at a young age, she started to explore graphic design and other media arts. With her personal experience, she is always interested in themes of self-identity and the lives of Chinese immigrant families in the US. After working as a motion graphic designer for several years, she decided to return to school to pursue filmmaking. Currently studying under the MFA film-directing program at the California Institute of the Arts, she hopes to expose herself to different possibilities, to write and work on the films that are close to her.
