The fundamental policy divisions between Bolton and Trump
John Bolton, the third person to serve as national security advisor under President Trump, is out. Bolton was one of Washington’s outspoken hawks for decades, and he was instrumental in the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.
