Lawmakers grill Google CEO on concerns of bias, privacy
Google CEO Sundar Pichai testified before the House Judiciary Committee in response to criticism over some of the company’s practices. Pichai faced grilling from the right on allegations of anti-conservative bias in search results, as well as questions from the left on the tech giant's commitment to stopping foreign misinformation and hate speech, among other concerns.
