Baseball reinstates Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson
After previously being on the ineligible list, Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson are now eligible to be inducted into Baseball’s Hall of Fame. The two immensely talented players were both tainted by scandal. Rose admitted to betting on games while Jackson and seven other teammates were banned for allegedly fixing the World Series in 1919.
