Congress close to passing spending bill to avoid shutdown
Lawmakers are working around the clock to pass a massive $1.7 trillion government funding bill before heading home for the holidays. Over 4,000 pages of legislative text were released overnight and include key spending measures for defense, Ukraine aid, disaster aid and more.
