What to know about Trump's effort to restrict mail ballots
A federal judge indefinitely extended her order to prevent the Trump administration from implementing new restrictions on mail-in ballots. The Trump plan would require states to use scannable ballot envelopes and to provide the federal government with lists of voters eligible to receive mail ballots.
