Hurricane Maria’s destructive tear across the Caribbean

Hurricane Maria lashed the Dominican Republic with heavy wind and rain on Thursday, a day after the storm pounded the island of Puerto Rico. The Hurricane ravaged other islands across the Caribbean, including Dominica and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The devastation cut off power for many and left at least 19 dead across the Caribbean. John Yang reports.
