How shakier jobs numbers could be a self-fulfilling prophecy
May's jobs report showed more signs of slowing economic growth in the U.S. The Labor Department reported a net gain of 75,000 jobs -- just a third of the total for the previous month. That change is set against a backdrop of trade wars and other signals, like manufacturing data and anxiety in the financial markets.
