Before a Breath

Approximately 21,000 babies are stillborn each year in the U.S. Research shows that a fourth of stillbirths are potentially preventable. Intimate, infuriating and ultimately hopeful, “Before a Breath” weaves together the stories of three mothers who have lost children to stillbirth as they strive to make pregnancy safer for other families.
