Miss Marple befriends Mike, a charming chauffeur who recounts his romance with Ellie. They plan their dream home at a local spot known as Gypsy’s Acre. Not long after the young couple weds, Ellie is thrown from her horse and dies, fueling speculation of a gypsy curse. Following two more suspicious deaths, Miss Marple begins to sort out the clues, but she soon finds herself in danger.
