Now in 2020: in addition to being a Presidential election year, and the centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment – guaranteeing women the right to vote, it is also the year Virginia became the final state needed to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). So what does this mean and who were the women that paved the way for the generation we see demanding change now?
