Tumbling Tumbleweeds - The Luck and the Loss
Musician Gene Newberry cherishes a plaque he owns with the sheet music and 45 recording of the Sons of the Pioneers’ iconic song, Tumbling Tumbleweeds. But it contains a mysterious inscription by original band member, Bob Nolan: “To Fred – This was the second song I wrote – 1932. It has been both good and bad to me. Bob Nolan.” Hosts Eduardo Pagán and Elyse Luray investigate the story.
