Sweet Ride USA, Ep. 4: Donut Friend with the Treats N' Beats Bike Crew

Riders — including a cool kid and a dog named Francine — join the Sweet Rides crew for their first ever public ride in episode 4. The cavalcade of almost 50 bikes heads to Highland Park for customizable punk-rock-themed treats at Donut Friend. Along for the day is Rick Johnson from local bike crew Treats N’ Beats, who talks cyclists’ rights, the intricacies of the “bike nod,” and problematic Prius drivers. We’re also given a glimpse of a cyclocross obstacle course race at Glendale’s Verdugo Park. Some of the footage featured in this episode was contributed by the public riders.
