VIDEO: What Are Puppets?
After watching Pinkalicious make "Mr. Socko," is your child curious about puppets and how they can make one? This video shows how almost anything can become a puppet if we use our imagination.

ARTICLE: Drawing Maps + Other Tips to Teach Spatial Skills
Cat's friend Bucky helped Nick and Sally learn how to use landmarks to help Nick find his favorite yo-yo. Your child can also practice these essential spatial reasoning skills at home (and away froms screens). For example, draw a map of your home to show where all the rooms and large furniture items are located. Then expand to draw a map of your neighborhood.

GAME: Daniel Tiger's "Classroom Helpers"
Children feel proud when they can be helpers. This game shows ways Daniel and his friends take care of things at school. Children will see that everyone’s job is important and they can feel good about taking on some responsibilities at home, too.
