Community Weaving: Grupo Estudiantil Oaxaqueño

Grupo Estudiantil Oaxaqueño invites you to a community weaving session in the exhibition Sangre de Nopal/Blood of the Nopal: Tanya Aguiñiga & Porfirio Gutiérrez en Conversación/in Conversation. The large-scale, collaborative artwork on view presents several possibilities enabled by different weaving structures, opening up the opportunity to think and create alongside Tanya Aguiñiga and Porfirio Guitiérrez. The artists encourage you to explore weaving as a metaphor for human relationships. Experiment freely and follow your imagination as you add to this work-in-progress that will continue to evolve over the course of the show.
