Open House for Public Spaces, Vote for Your Favorite Projects in Northeast Los Angeles

Last Saturday, the placemaking workshop series, led by Mia Lehrer + Associates, LA MÁS, and The Robert Group, concluded with an open house of potential public space projects within the Northeast Los Angeles Riverfront study area (Atwater Village, Elysian Valley, Glassell Park, Cypress Park, and Lincoln Heights).
Held at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens in Cypress Park, community members were invited to preview and vote for project ideas that were developed through a series of community driven workshops. Each community member was provided a set of color-coded stickers, which were used to vote for one project per neighborhood. The data collected from these votes will help determine which of these projects will be included in the final Vision Plan, a document to be presented to the City Council for review and possible implementation.
Voting is closed.
